Wiebitte

Wiebitte is a smart tool designed to facilitate our communication during pandemic times. We aimed to produce a device that helps increase the volume of our voice while wearing masks as well as maintaining the social distancing between individuals meeting each other. As over 70% of people face problems during communication due to sound distortion caused by masks and protective screens. Wiebitte gives the people there voice back, as it's easy clip-on mechanism fits onto all masks and is easy to set up.

Wiebitte consists out of 2 small round devices, the form is chosen to optimize the sound quality as much as possible, which has a flexible and removable rubber band that is acting as a clamp attached to them. It was created with a mindset of not having it too big of a product with a unclear interface which then would just be distractive. We rather focused on it being an accessory for people and having a dual purpose as it can be attached to a protection screen in-store or on yourself.
