The Shelf2Style was designed in the context of the Bachelor Design Project and based on the finidings of the Bachelor Thesis.
The furniture provided in Student apartments is usually only fulfilling their basic functionality and is not in any way adjustable to its users. In addition, tenants are often prohibited from hanging decoration because the walls and furniture must remain in its condition and must not be altered.

The shelf2style gives tenants the possibility to style it to their liking, the easy hook system provides a wide range of possibilities for different shelf options. The backplate would always be pre-installed and the user could then choose its functionality to their needs. Additionally, the backplate serves as an acoustic panel for the mostly very thin walls in student housing.
